Local Sourcing

Sustainability isn't a buzzword.
It's a deliberate choice.

For us, sustainability begins in the soil.

It is about shortening the distance between the farm and the kitchen. It is about looking at the wealth of Philippine agriculture and deciding to build our recipes around it—not as a novelty, but as a standard.

Supporting the crop. Partnering with the grower. Elevating the local harvest.
01

The Malagos Partnership

More than a collaboration—a permanent pillar of our supply chain.

When we set out to create our chocolate cookies, we didn't look abroad. We looked to the rich, volcanic soils of Davao. Our partnership with Malagos Chocolate is not a temporary marketing campaign; it is a deliberate, ongoing commitment to world-class Philippine cacao.

"We don't just buy chocolate; we invest in the ecosystem that grows it."

By sourcing our chocolate locally, we ensure that every bite of our Classic Dark Chocolate Chunk supports ethical farming practices, fair trade for local farmers, and the continued cultivation of award-winning Filipino cacao.

02

Respecting the Roots

Ube has become a global phenomenon, but its soul belongs to the Philippine earth.

In our Ube Series, we refuse to use artificial extracts or purple food coloring to fake authenticity. Instead, we source real, slow-cooked ube halaya crafted from locally harvested purple yam.

  • Real texture.
  • Earthy sweetness.
  • Honest farming.

When you taste our Ube't Quezo or Ube Custaroon, you are tasting the actual crop—grown in local soil, harvested by local hands, and prepared the traditional way.

03

The Local Harvest

Our menu reads like a map of the Philippine archipelago. We let the geography dictate the flavor.

Davao Cacao Batangas Barako Bicol Pili Nuts Philippine Calamansi

By seeking out the best ingredients our country has to offer—like the buttery richness of Bicolano pili nuts or the bold punch of Kapeng Barako—we reduce our carbon footprint while championing the biodiversity of local agriculture.

04

Why Local Matters

Sustainability is often measured in what a company removes—less plastic, less waste, less emissions. We believe it must also be measured by what a company builds.

By committing to local sourcing, we build resilience into our farming communities. We create consistent demand for endemic crops. We prove that world-class pastry does not require importing ingredients from halfway across the globe.

The finest ingredients are already growing in our backyard. We just have to choose them.

We protect what we source.

Grown locally. Traded fairly. Baked intentionally.

Every cookie you enjoy is a quiet investment in the farmers and the soil that made it possible.
